Hi there, you will notice that everyone who has reported the same problem has also reported it fixed by following the instructions exactly. Double check the exact path and copy paste the code to the correct place with no edits.

Thank you so much Phil- I really appreciate it! Sometimes it seems crazy that people don’t get things online, but having just made an oversight, I’ll now have a bit more understanding for these types of posts. Again, thanks so much for responding to your site and being helpful! That’s getting rare these days!

I got all the icons working in the order I like, and added target=blank to a few outgoing links, and adjusted “top” to -38 which shows a bit less icon yet is clear.

I got it to work- the path indeed was incorrect, my error. I FTP’d one level up and didn’t notice. apologies for any confusion- oversight. thanks Phil!

@Tom- did you ever figure this out? I’m having the same problem. I think I did the 4 steps correctly- there isn’t too many places to mess up. Everything is functional, except the buttons are invisible. thought it might be the custom background image, but nope. My guess was that it was a permissions issue for the images folder, but 777 doesn’t even work. it has to be about the path, but i checked on @Wout’s suggestion, and that’s not my issue.

You haven’t followed the instructions correctly. The path where you have put the files is wrong. Please read the post carefully and correct the path issue and it will work.

this didn’t work for me- i can’t believe it! the icons are save in /public_html/wp-content/mystique_icons, and I copied and paste the two bits of code in the right spot. and cleared the cache. i get invisible buttons, but i can hover over where they should be and i can “click” on where they should be…please help!

Thank you my friend. But no music whilst flying. There’s enough going on to distract me. I’m not sure about the left-brain theory.

Nope the music is relegated to the morning run. But it is always Quo, Max Webster, 10cc etc.

I even gave 2112 an airing the other day. :-/

Hi there,

I can only see one icon there. The icons don’t bounce as well when viewed using Explorer though so maybe that is what you are seeing? Suggestion would be to simply strip the extra code and start again using ONLY the exact code that I posted here. Once you have that working you can then start to customise.
